Privacy first

We can't see your money. That's the point.

Your entries, balances and bill photos live on your phone. If you turn on Google Drive backup, it goes to a hidden folder in your own Drive that only this app can use, encrypted with your passphrase if you choose.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes, it's free during early access.

Does it read my SMS messages?

No. The app has no SMS permission. To record a bank SMS, long-press it and share it with the app. Only that message is read, on your phone.

Where is my data stored?

Only on your phone. The optional backup goes to a hidden app folder in your own Google Drive, or to a file you save yourself. We never receive it.

What happens if I lose or change my phone?

If Google Drive backup is on, install the app on the new phone and choose "Restore a backup" on the first screen. Encrypted backups need your passphrase. Without the passphrase they can't be opened, by design.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Everything works offline, including bill scanning. Internet is used only for the optional Google Drive backup.

Which bills and screenshots can it read?

Printed bills in English, screenshots from UPI apps such as GPay, PhonePe, Paytm and BHIM, and bank or card SMS. You always check the details before saving. Handwritten bills and other languages aren't read yet, but the photo is still attached.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. The app is for Android 8 and newer.
